We've been in Daingerfield for a couple of days, so we had eaten in almost every restaurant. So we were down to pizza. Milano's pizza is the best pizza in town. The other pizza place has closed. So the competition is not that tough.
So the wifey and me did the vintage dance to Milano's.
After reviewing the menu, we ordered the Milano's special. In reading the menu, this pizza looked a lot like the Deluxe Pizza at Pizza Getti. Trust me it wasn't. The pizza had beef, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, onion, bell peppers, etc. On the Deluxe, they put as much beef as they put on a hamburger pizza, as much sausage as they put on a sausage pizza, etc. The Deluxe comes out loaded several layers deep with toppings. It makes me hungry just to think about it. At Milano's the Supreme had a couple of pepperoni's, a few sausage, etc. Most of the pizza was cheese. Now the cheese was tasty. But I paid extra to get toppings and I think I am missing most of the toppings here.
So overall, we were disappointed here. The pizza taste pretty good, but it did not come close to our expectation.
So givn' Milano's a 5.5. Still the best pizza in Daingerfield.
