We ventured in anyway. I can take it if they can and sometimes they can't. This is one of those places you have to slither up to the counter to order. So we settled for a single burger each and an order of onion rings.
The burger is a 6 oz burger or 3/8's pound for you mechanics. The meat patty had a nice flavor and it was covered with all of the usual suspects (lettuce, onion, pickles, etc.). The bun had been toasted on the grill which is always a good plus. So overall, this is a good.
The onion rings, not so much. At least the ones we had. These goomers were greasy and soggy. They obviously had sat around a while. If they were fresh, they would probably be pretty good. There was so many of them you could feed all your kin folk with just one order.
Two burgers, onion rings, and 2 drinks, set us back $25.00. Now all burgers in Texas have to compete with Whataburger and for twice the price, I am choosing Whataburger. Of course near Baylor the eating options are limited. I did notice that across the street from Baylor they are building a new building and it does look like there will be several restaurants in the building, so progress.
Givem a 6.9526 (soggy onion rings just don't cut it).
